Bailey Finch Associates are delighted to assist our client with the vacancy of Quality Assistant within their business.

The role will involve:

Establish, measure and maintain quality of our clients products to specification. Ensure legal and safety requirements are maintained  at all times. Continuously Improve quality standards and practices.

Ensure legal certifications are current and received in a timely manner
Maintain due diligence testing programme in a timely manner .
Escalate quality, legal and safety concerns.
Evaluate and assess samples.
Maintain samples library.
Sample and conduct AQL checks and/or builds  against potential, new and  established products in accordance with required protocol.
Proactively interrogate quality findings for trends and opportunities.
Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues.
Create appropriate specifications to set quality standards.
Develop appropriate procedures and work instructions for Quality Management System.
Maintain and utilise Quality System.
Keep accurate, timely and transparent quality records .
Establish requirement for product spares with supporting infrastructure.
Provide data for period report.
Conduct internal process audits.
Drive, set and agree corrective and preventative action plans.
Build a quality relationship  and dialog with Suppliers
Participate in stock take.

You must have:
Knowledge of QA & QC
Good communication skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Effective influencing and negotiation skills at all levels of business.
Logical thinker.
