We are currently assisting our client for a Business Manager within their Engineering sector.
You will be responsible for leading and motivating 2 senior consultants and a resourcer, ensuring your staff have the knowledge and support to introduce a first class service to new clients. The Business managers main responsibilities will also include:
* Devising a sales plan/strategy for the business unit to ensure the branch maximise business development opportunities and exceed financial budget set for each year
* Driving the sales activities within the branch and being responsible for identifying and growing new service lines within the branch
* Recruit, coach, develop, lead and motivate a team of dedicated recruitment professionals to ensure the branch achieves financial targets, and comply with quality standards
* Management of all branch HR issues including absence, sickness and holidays. Conducting performance reviews, staff development and performance improvement to support the growth and profitability of the branch and development of the individuals.
* Controlling and measuring direct and indirect costs associated with the business unit to ensure profitability in line with company targets and budget
* Work within the engineering business community to identify opportunities to promote the business.
* Working with internal departments, corporate accounts and other divisions to support and develop the strategy for the business unit and division.
