Maintenance Engineering Manager

Salary is circa £40k plus relocation 

A prestigious precision engineering company now requires a skilled hands on maintenance engineering manager to join their team. 

Job Role: 

Responsible for the plant maintenance programmes, including the scheduling of planned and preventative maintenance activities, the job holder will support production by ensuring that planned and break-down maintenance support is delivered in a timely and cost-effective way. 

There will be a requirement to monitor the inventories of maintenance equipment and components ensuring that appropriate levels are maintained. In addition, updating maintenance systems and reviewing planned preventative and breakdown activities, making improvements where required. 

With line management responsibilities the Maintenance/Facilities Manager will ensure that staff are appropriately trained/developed and that safety standards are complied with at all times. 

Job Requirements: 

The ideal candidate will come from a precision engineering industry as a Maintenance Engineering manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications & experience: 
* A recognised engineering qualification 
* Experience of managing engineering teams 
* Experience of facilities management 
* A hands on proactive man manager 
* Worked within a Preventative planned maintenance (PPM) environment
