Bailey Finch Associates are delighted to assist our client with the role of Customer Finance Assistant within their business.
The purpose of the role is:
To ensure that bank related transactions are processed correctly and any discrepancies are resolved, including the identification of debt to be referred for collection.
Ensuring that:
- bank discrepancies are investigated, reconciled and corrected
- any input of cash, credit notes, invoices and JNL’s are processed accurately
- any potential debt is analysed and identified and referred to the Credit Control Manager for collection.
- all Finance debt is sent for payment daily, reconciled and chased appropriately
- claims for VAT refunds are correctly calculated, validated and processed.
- AMEX card payments are processed promptly via the HO card machine and reconciled.
- all reports and KPI’s are prepared and distributed as required.
You must have:
- Attention to detail
- Numeracy
- Ability to prioritise, organise and delegate.
- PC literate, especially Excel.
- Strong and professional communicator both internally and also with customers.
- Accommodate tight deadlines, whilst working under pressure.
